Your scenic travel journey from Christchurch to Wellington, is by inter-city bus from Christchurch to Kaikoura and Picton - the gateway to the Marlborough. There sufficient time to where you will have time to experience this charming small town before you board your inter-island ferry from Picton to Wellington, for a 92 km, three hour spectacular cruise, as you sail through the Marlborough Sounds - a collection of sea-drowned sparsely populated, steep wooded hill valleys with small quiet bays, being a natural scenic wonder, crossing Cook Strait that separates the South and North Island and through Wellington harbour, which has one of the most picturesque harbours in the world, to Wellington city - the harbour capital.

Accommodation at compulsory stops is within short walking distance to bus stops/terminals. Accommodation is additional to your fare.
